ICUC is a trailblazing company that has pioneered community management services in social spaces since even before social media existed. Starting in the mobile marketing space with SMS and text messaging promotions and Text to Screen applications - ICUC's virtual teams were already doing content moderation and community management before those were commonplace specialties. We continue to embody this trailblazing attitude as we innovate in the realms of artificial intelligence, machine learning and optimizing performance of our virtual (now global!) teams of human experts by blending the best of humans and technology to provide unsurpassed social media management services.

Life at ICUC:

All the good and bad you read about working from home… well, that’s all true! We’ve had numerous great, talented people join our team over the years only to realize that working remotely simply wasn’t for them. We’re happy they tried and were able to learn that about themselves in the process.

Our daily drill includes a lot of time on cloud office solutions like G Suite and Microsoft Office 365. Email, chat, web conferences on Google Hangouts, Google Meet, Skype, GotoMeeting, Uberconference and Zoom – these are all a standard day in the life. Staying close to your colleagues through frequent communications – much of it on video is critical to staying “dialled in”.

As a remote/virtual structure, metrics rule our conduct. Time tracking, staffing efficiency, revenue quotas, etc all very precise and clear measures of success are often reviewed by teams. It can sometime feel like a little too much scrutiny/pressure to those unfamiliar with a performance culture. BUT, if you are motivated by challenging goals and targets, and like achieving the next milestone, our culture might just be what you’re looking for!
