History of Hagie Manufacturing

Hagie Manufacturing was founded in 1947 and disrupted the industry with the invention of the world’s first self-propelled sprayer and through the years many other inventions. The company quickly became an industry leader by providing the market with new solutions for evolving farming needs and leading the way with many “firsts.” We do not just compete in the market…we invented it. Today, innovation is still our cornerstone. Because after all, nutrient deficiencies and pest problems do not stop just because the sprayer cannot enter the field. With Hagie solutions, you are able to enter the field any day. 

 

On March 29, 2016, Hagie Manufacturing Company entered into a joint venture with John Deere and in 2020, we became fully owned by John Deere.  The incorporation of Hagie application solutions completes the John Deere sprayer portfolio with products featuring unique late-season capability, while also expanding the Hagie company footprint to serve more customers across the John Deere distribution network. A partnership designed to capture the synergies and strengths of both brands, this relationship is designed with the benefit of our customers in mind.
