A little word about OSCAR
"When I was first approached about the possibiliy of introducing a new recognition platform to the organization, I never thought it would culminate in our very own OSCAR celebration. It began with a thought, which turned into a conversation, and before I knew it, discussion panels were being assembled with key players across the organization, because, let's face it, it takes a village! It was evident that in order for such a gala to work, every individual within the organization would have to be involved. It was as simple as that. Categories were defined, an Academy was assembled, and 200+ employees were given the chance to nominate up to 5 colleagues, across 12 categories, they felt were deserving to be recognized on this amplified platform. We are all about equal opportunity. To reiterate what was said during our opening monologue: we are each our own obstacles. But, we are also our own solution. Innovation, inevitable technological changes; the times change, we change. Congratulate yourselves on your creativity, versatility, and drive to achieve. Your biggest opponent will always be, yourself."
