All employees must have the following required background checks in place prior to starting work: Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) clearance issued under the Department of Human Services (DHS); Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) Criminal History Clearance; Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance; National Sex Offender Registry (NSOR) Verification Certificate; those who have resided outside of Pennsylvania within the previous five years of employment and/or still reside outside of Pennsylvania must obtain a State criminal history check, State sex offender registry check and State child abuse and neglect registry check from the State(s) in which they resided; Act 168 forms. Health assessment, TB, and mandated reporter training documentation are due within 30 days of hire. Additional requirements as needed based on position.
