Graduate Programme with Group Procurement
Group Procurement is responsible for sourcing the very best goods and services for IAG. They partner with the Group operating companies to understand business needs, before identifying the best suppliers to deliver whatever goods or services are required. They manage the relationships and interactions with suppliers on behalf of the Group, working with them on shared ambitions including innovation and sustainability.
There has never been a more exciting time to be part of the Group Procurement Team within IAG GBS. Now you can start your career with us by joining our Graduate Programme and from day one work with our many airlines across the UK, Ireland and Spain, making business decisions that will procure the best solutions from the thousands of suppliers we deal with. You will be empowered to challenge the norm with suppliers using your newly acquired negotiation and supplier management skills.
About the programme
The graduate scheme is a three-year programme. Each year you will rotate into different procurement categories, which will offer you an opportunity to explore diverse placements. Moreover, you will be actively working towards a globally recognised qualification. Upon completing the three-year journey, you will earn a diploma in the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply, earning the MCIPS qualification.
During the programme, you will enjoy on-the-job learning and responsibility through a series of year-long placements. You will start the graduate scheme with an induction week which will develop your understanding of the organisation and the airline industry and meeting our management committee. During your placements, there will be opportunities to reflect on your strengths, individual needs and career pathways to prepare yourself for a career in procurement.
