The Leidos Australia Graduate Program

As a Leidos graduate, you will enjoy a range of training and development opportunities throughout the 12 month program. The nature of the work we do for our government and defence customers means that you will also be involved in interesting, challenging projects as soon as you are up-and-running. However, we’ll also make sure you are well grounded in the basic work skills you will need to succeed in your career with us.

We are a forward-looking organisation and full of seriously smart, approachable people. So there’s plenty of scope to push your boundaries, develop and learn in an environment that’s challenging, supportive and constantly changing.

At the end of the program, our graduates typically transition in to roles across Leidos based on their strengths & aspirations and the needs of the business, and progress into both technical and managerial positions.

The Graduate Recruitment Process

We see this as a chance to find out as much as we can about each other.

Online Application - Late February to March 2018

The process starts with an online application form where we will ask you to answer some questions about yourself and to attach a copy of your academic transcript.

Online Cognitive Assessment - April 2018

Once we’ve reviewed the online application and decided we’d like to know more about you, we’ll ask you to complete an online cognitive assessment.

Video Interview - April 2018

If you’re successful through the cognitive assessment stage, you’ll then be invited to undertake a short video interview. This is an opportunity for you to tell us more about yourself whilst answering a few questions.

Face to Face Interview - May 2018

The last step will then be to meet face to face with a line manager and a representative from Human Resources. If you are successful, we will conduct background checks as the final stage.

Offer of Employment - End of May/Early June 2018

From here, we will making offers of employment to commence with us in January 2019.

We appreciate that there’s a long time to wait before starting. So we make it our business to stay in touch with regular company updates and chances to catch up if you have any queries. And as your first day gets closer, we’ll ensure you have all the support and resources you need to hit the ground running.
