Chef Anthony Walsh is the driving force behind Leña, a stylish homage to South American cuisine, with unique Spanish and Italian influences. Named after Chef Walsh’s mother-in-law, Elena, from whom he draws a wealth of culinary inspiration, Leña will span three floors at the Saks Fifth Avenue flagship store at Yonge & Richmond.


Spanning three floors of a striking heritage building at Yonge and Richmond, the restaurant offers a buzzing all-day bar, large dining room, lower-level lounge and two private dining spaces - totaling 300 seats.

Leña's Menu

The robust menu features hearty protein salads for power lunches, such as the butcher’s steak entraña with 12 raw vegetables and a green peppercorn salsa; savory pastas, like tagliatelle with rooster, laurel, lemon and saffron; nourishing dinner entrées, like grilled octopus, merquez-spiced duck breast and whole grilled fish; and shareables worth grazing on, including a selection of interesting toasts, raciones and empanadas, among many other imaginative items.
The dynamic menu is coupled with an equally diverse and exciting bar program, featuring a large, well-curated wine list, ranging from accessible to extravagant; six taps that will seasonally rotate, focusing on local, craft brews; and a strong selection of decidedly Latin cocktails.
