About Us

Greater Texas is a not-for-profit financial cooperative aimed at providing an array of products and services to our members. Founded in 1952, the credit union acquired Texas Aggie Federal Credit Union (TAFCU) in College Station in 1992, who's name was changed in 1994 to Aggieland Credit Union. This is why Greater Texas is known as Aggieland Credit Union in the Brazos Valley. The credit union offers a wide variety of banking services at low or no cost such as free checking accounts, free online bill pay and mobile check deposit to members across the state of Texas.

Dress Guidelines

At Greater Texas we support Branch Smart Casual dress. Branch Smart Casual is a dress code that is comprised of well-fitting, neat, and appropriate pieces that are slightly less formal than a business casual or business professional dress code. However, Branch Smart Casual is more elevated and put-together than dressing for off-hours and avoids items that are too casual or loose-fitting.

We believe in fostering a professional and inclusive work environment where all team members feel respected and valued. Our dress code policy reflects our commitment to professionalism, while also recognizing individual expression and diversity.

Presenting yourself positively is crucial for professional growth and success. It helps in building trust with members and supervisors, as well as shaping your personal brand.
